Celtic Connections contains genealogy and family tree information for both the Burns and Fogarty families of New Zealand and beyond.

Our earliest Burn ancestors came from Alva, Stirlingshire in Scotland and family tree records for the Burns side of the family go back through Scottish royalty because of a marriage between Robert Burns and Elizabeth Campbell Douglas in 1859. Surnames include Douglas, Fanning, Direen, Ritchie, Prentice, Torry and Telfer.

The Fogarty family tree includes the surnames Macdonald, Cahill, Forde, Anderson, Rose, Gordon, McWilliam, Moncur & Clerk.
